YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES
A midst all the challenges in both the economic and political environment that the country faces, the LFP Group has maintained a holistic approach to its participation in our Youth through Development, Education, Employment Opportunities and Transformation.
Our programme builds on the strengths and enthusiasm of young people by developing their skills and entrepreneurship. This includes providing them with leadership training, mentorship initiatives, and help them to transition from an enthusiastic youth to an active participant in our economic recovery.
LFP sees our youth as energetic, intelligent, physically and mentally fit individuals, dedicated to serving their country, and as such become our future leaders, in both Business and Governmental capacities.
All our youth programs are focussed to initiate, facilitate, implement, coordinate, and monitor various youth development interventions aimed at reducing youth unemployment, promoting social cohesion and creating entrepreneurs for the future.
Through our Youth Programs and Learnerships we are focussed on raising the skills capacity of young people through enhanced skills development and Mentorship programs by providing unemployed youth with opportunities to work in their communities and to be trained to provide the necessary services for local socio-economic development and food security programs. These initiatives see young people involved in the refurbishment, rehabilitation, and maintenance of community infrastructure across the country.
